  interesting in a cong of about 80-100 publishers.

  WT March 15, 2016 - Kids pressured toward baptism again

  the study wt of march 2016 is up on jw.org and is the standard article around this time of year...pressuring young kids to dedicate their lives to the organization again.

  this wt will be studied during may, so just in time to pressure them into baptism at the regional conventions this summer.such articles really upset me, as the realization of how many young promising lives will be destroyed.

  how many families will be broken up, when the child who got baptized as a minor (ages 6 and up are mentioned in the literature) decides as a young adult that his/her conscience no longer allows him/her to be part of such a destructive cult.

  This JW practice is no different than infant baptism of other faiths, no different.

  Kids do not know shit from shinola!

  Their bodies along with the brain are developing, evolving, maturing; this is why they cannot enter into a legally binding contract.

  No wonder why Jesus waited 'til being fully cooked prior to taking on such commitment.

  The WTBTS is only interested in the numbers. The $$$ and numbers. That's all.

  over the years, my experience is that they do attract very needy, insecure, dysfunctional, types.

  i had an acquaintance that i just basically cut off.

  i reckon it's cause they are easy to victimise.

  i mean, some-one could say, keep our secret, nobody will believe you & god wont love you, but think of the power they would have if they say "you will be disfellowshipped," on top.

  Control is number one, and also makes up the high numbers for the membership-numbers-driven WTBTS.

  Nobody outside the legal adult age should go into any contract, let alone the biggest contract which will affect the rest of a person's life.

  What does this so considered Christian org have against following Christ's example in this regard?

  The Bible clearly states that one should carefully follow Jesus' example in all things.

  Well, as in all other cases, they cherry pick scriptures in this as well.

  while sale price is not stated, the transfer tax indicates a transaction for $57 million.. rivercrest is a modern development west of route 9d just north of beacon and was a project of avr realty, which also developed other housing and commercial spaces in that area as well as projects in eight states.. the sale deed is between rivercrest development llc, based in yonkers, and watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc. as the buyer.

  Not booted out... for now.

  Unless any lifer bethelite has a skill needed by the WTBTS, it is just a matter of time before being booted out under the guise of "much needed help out in some area".

  I truly feel bad for some that trusted this Org literally with their LIFE and now get kicked to the curb to fend for themselves without viable skills or funds; and then have the gall to order them not to be bitter about it but to trust in Jehovah instead.

  okay, so at the "imitate their faith" ca there was a special speaker from the gb.

  and he started discussing psalms 1:1 and how we today could "sit in the seat of scoffers".

  he then mentioned that many bros. and sisters criticize the org and think they are so smart by researching online.
